Licensed Vocational Nurse PRN Days

Oceans Healthcare is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Oceans Behavioral Hospital Waco. As a member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide nursing care for patients experiencing common, well-defined health problems.
The LVN will utilize the nursing process to implement patient care, working under the supervision of a registered nurse. This role requires the ability to think critically and make safe, appropriate decisions within the scope of LVN nursing practice.
Key responsibilities include delivering quality nursing care to assigned patients, accurately documenting findings, and communicating effectively with other healthcare members. The LVN will also implement nursing care interventions identified in the individualized multidisciplinary treatment plan.
Requirements for this position include a current, valid, and active license to practice as a Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse in the state of employment, as well as one year of inpatient hospital experience. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a high-stress environment, assess potential for patient escalation, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
