Job Title: Salon Receptionist - Bartender

We are seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Salon Receptionist - Bartender to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Experience: Lead the client's experience from check-in to check-out, ensuring Drybar standards are upheld and creating a memorable experience for the client.
  • Shop Atmosphere: Set the tone of a positive shop atmosphere by approaching the day as if hosting a party.
  • Reservation Management: Organize and execute shop flow between clients and staff in a positive manner, serving as a subject matter expert in the reservation system.
  • Client Information: Ensure client information is entered in with accuracy and timeliness, rebooking appointments during check-out while addressing clients by name.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot any reservation system issues, make changes to Client Profiles, optimize appointments to fit business needs, and check notes to ensure clients' needs are met.
  • Communication: Engage clients, serve complimentary beverages, and maintain clear communication with Shop Management about overall shop operations.
  • Product Knowledge: Educate clients on Drybar products and tools and replenish after sell-through.
  • Core Values: Uphold Drybar's 10 Core Values.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in a fast-paced, customer service-centric environment (sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position).
  • Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred.
  • Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills and strong presence.
  • Self-starter with a leadership mentality.
  • Pleasant and positive demeanor.
  • Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service.
  • Ability to multitask with ease.
