Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. As a valued member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in providing clinical services to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical analysis and reporting of test results in the Immunology Laboratory department.
  • Operate automated laboratory instrumentation for patient testing and perform required instrument maintenance.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of laboratory safety practices and policies.
  • Complete annual required education and other training modules.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Licensed and currently registered to practice in New York State as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an NYSDOH permitted/CAP accredited laboratory performing infectious disease serological testing.
