Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, and maintain fire alarm systems, including EST, Edwards, EST3, and EST4 systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of fire alarm systems to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Diagnose and repair any faults or malfunctions in fire alarm systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of all installation, inspection, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide training and guidance to other team members on the operation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or queries from clients promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid Fire Alarm System Technician License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency with EST, Edwards, EST3, EST4, and other Fire Alarm Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to fire alarm systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a commitment to ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of conditions.
