Diagnostic Sonographer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our Radiology Team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of routine, complex, and highly technical procedures using ionizing and non-ionizing ultrasonic waves to diagnose diseases.
  • Work under the administrative direction of the Radiology Director and Radiology Manager, and under the clinical direction and guidance of the Radiologist and Ultrasound Supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an approved CAHEA/JRCT school of Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent.
  • ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certified and ARRT preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in vascular, OB, and small part sonography.
