As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and instrumentation maintenance, installation, and optimization of the facility to ensure it operates at its highest performance level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment throughout the plant, including motors, motor starter circuits, and PLCs.
  • Instrumentation Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment, including process controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Power Distribution: Maintain power distribution systems and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Reliability Initiatives: Support reliability initiatives such as motor testing, ultrasonic, power analysis, and thermography.
  • Calibrations and Repairs: Perform precision maintenance calibrations and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • System Changes: Manage system changes by backing up programs, updating documentation, schematics, and drawings.
Requirements
  • Education: Two (2) years or more of experience as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician in an industrial environment, or a two (2) year degree or higher in Industrial Electrical Maintenance and one (1) year experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, or three (3) years or more experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance.
  • Skills: Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and loop sheets, knowledge of electrical hazards and safety procedures, and OSHA requirements.
  • Experience: Diagnosing and repairing various electrical and electronic equipment, including AC and DC motors, motor starter circuits, PLCs, Variable frequency drives, and 480v circuits and above.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and ability to work with others.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in temperature extremes, hostile environments, and lift up to 50 pounds.
