Position, Department: Culinary Operations, Food Services

Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Flexible hours based on departmental requirements, approximately 12 hours per week

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

Position Overview: Engage in food service operations, ensuring the preparation, stocking, and serving of food is conducted safely and in compliance with all relevant guidelines.

Essential Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with minimal related experience. Candidates must be able to obtain ServeSafe Certification upon hiring.

Key Responsibilities: Job duties encompass, but are not limited to:
  • Efficiently operate kitchen equipment while adhering to departmental standards and promptly report any issues.
  • Manage inventory levels and report any excess waste or overproduction of food items.
  • Ensure proper rotation and handling of food products in line with departmental protocols.
  • Keep track of expiration dates on all food items.
  • Assess food presentation and quality, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with guests, customers, and colleagues.
  • Assist in training and supervising part-time staff as needed, following departmental guidelines.
  • Perform cleaning duties in dining areas as required.
