Job Title:

Job Summary:
Kindred Hospital Louisville is seeking a skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutrition care to patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with the culinary service manager to resolve patient concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and reassessment of patients to develop and update care plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation related to patient assessments, care plans, education, and discharge planning.
  • Interview patients, family members, and staff to gather diet history and food preferences for care plan development.
  • Collaborate with the culinary service manager to address patient concerns and dissatisfaction with diets or meal services.

Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • License to practice as a Registered Dietitian in the state of Kentucky.
