Job Title: Bilingual Clinician-Functional Family Therapy

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician-Functional Family Therapy to join our team at Wheeler Clinic. As a key member of our foster care program, you will work closely with children, foster families, and biological families to provide therapeutic support and guidance.

About the Role:
  • Provide family therapy services to foster families and biological families to support the well-being and stability of children in foster care.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each family.
  • Collaborate with foster care staff, providers, and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide support and direction to foster families to assist them in caring for children placed in their homes.
  • Monitor foster parent compliance with program expectations and policy, and assist families in meeting these requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with behavioral health service delivery to children, adolescents, and families.
  • Experience working with the foster care population is preferred.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Must hold one of the following credentials: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut.
