Job Title: Bilingual Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Clinician to join our team at Wheeler Clinic. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children and families in our foster care program.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients. As a Bilingual Clinician, you will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children and families in our foster care program. You will also work closely with foster families, biological families, and other internal and external providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to children and families in our foster care program
  • Work closely with foster families, biological families, and other internal and external providers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to ensure comprehensive care for our clients
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or other related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with behavioral health service delivery to children, adolescents, and families
  • Experience working with the foster care population is preferred
  • Ability to speak fluently in both English and Spanish
  • Must hold one of the following credentials: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC, or licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut
