About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Protection Manager to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As an Asset Protection Manager, you will be responsible for leading and executing inventory counts, supervising and directing the work of Team Members in the asset protection and inventory control departments, and creating and maintaining a safe club environment through the execution of theft deterrence strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform safety inspections and instruct on accident prevention techniques
  • Develop and teach company asset prevention programs and initiatives
  • Lead, execute, and investigate results from inventory count program
  • Manage inventory control functions, including overseeing count teams and programs
  • Oversee RTV process and ensure accuracy of damage and return to vendor and transfers
  • Develop effective and productive teams in the asset protection and inventory control departments
  • Execute Asset Protection Routines as outlined in the Asset Protection Supervisor Calendar
  • Complete weekly review of the club shrink report and investigate variances accordingly
  • Partner with RAPM and investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and organized retail crime cases
Requirements
  • High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery, and/or management experience is preferred
  • Prior asset protection, safety, and/or inventory control experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results
  • Forklift experience is preferred
  • Open shift availability is required
