About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobility Engineering Lead to join our team at Applied Insight. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in the design, fielding, and sustainment of mobility capabilities for our Government Agency clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Develop and recommend improvements to processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective mobility solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control plans to ensure high-quality mobility solutions.
  • Security Solutions: Research, design, and implement security solutions for mobile devices, mobility infrastructure, and capabilities.
  • Performance Tuning: Monitor, review, analyze, and make recommendations to optimize mobility solutions.
  • Vulnerability Tracking: Track and report on identified information system vulnerabilities.
  • Emerging Technologies: Keep our clients abreast of emerging mobile technologies and the latest network standards.
  • System Design Analysis: Research, compile, and analyze system design to assist with the resolution of network issues.
  • System Reliability: Establish and maintain procedures for ensuring continued system reliability.
  • System Engineering: Apply knowledge of standards, policies, principles, practices, and techniques of system engineering and documentation.
  • Process Improvement Methodologies: Apply process improvement methodologies such as the Capability Maturity Model.
  • Audit Support: Provide data for audits.
  • Property Management: Issue and return property.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 years of progressive work experience in a technical labor category, with 3 to 5 years of experience as a Mobility Engineer.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with mobile applications, mobile device management, mobile virtual private network technologies, server, and cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Workspace One and AirWatch: Experience with Workspace One Mobile Device Management and AirWatch.
  • Certifications: Must successfully pass Applied Insight Background check and USCP Criminal History Background Check.
