We are seeking a Radiology Care Team Member to join our team at the Hampton Roads Women's Imaging program. As a key member of our care team, this individual will work closely with patients to guide them through their imaging needs and provide education and emotional support.

The Radiology Care Team Member will track patient result outcomes, perform medical outcome audits, and follow established guidelines for imaging procedures. This includes performing diagnostic and screening mammograms according to policy and procedure, interpreting results, and collaborating with attending physicians.

This position requires rotation between multiple locations, including Millie Lancaster, Ghent, and the new Women's Imaging Center - Portsmouth. The individual will also be responsible for facilitating localization procedures, coordinating with surgical offices, and obtaining orders for imaging procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining established departmental policies and procedures
  • Evaluating completed tests for quality and completeness
  • Complying with infection control standards and environmental regulations
  • Participating in educational programs and continuing education credits

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and take initiative. Previous experience in mammography is required, along with ARRT certification and CPR/BLS training.
