Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and ensuring the highest quality patient care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution and certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.). One year of experience in radiation safety and patient care is preferred, as well as proficiency in electronic health records and radiology information systems. This role requires working within an interdisciplinary team, monitoring patient conditions during examination, and recording patient medical histories.

Responsibilities:
• Obtain patient's clinical history and appropriate lab work, documenting information for use by licensed practitioners
• Position and immobilize patients to best demonstrate anatomic areas of interest, respecting patient comfort
• Apply principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others
• Perform radiographic procedures using imaging equipment and accessories, selecting and operating them successfully
• Verify informed consent and complete pre- and post-procedure documentation
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized radiography procedures, applying aseptic surgical techniques when needed
• Evaluate images for technical quality and document patient dose exposures

Requirements:
• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institution
• Certification as a Registered Technologist (R.T.)
• One year of experience in radiation safety and patient care (preferred)
• Proficiency in electronic health records and radiology information systems (preferred)
