  • To interpret American Sign Language (ASL) in an educational setting
  • To facilitate effective communication between students who are Deaf or hard of hearing and their educators
  • To work collaboratively with the educational team to ensure a smooth learning experience for all students
About ProCare Therapy

We are a supportive and encouraging organization that values our staff and clients alike.

As a contracted professional with us, you will be paid at an hourly rate on a weekly basis as a W-2 employee.

Qualifications and Requirements

Certification: Current certification as a sign language interpreter (e.g., from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf or a state credential)

Experience: Previous experience interpreting in educational settings is preferred but not always required

Skillset: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to accurately convey spoken language in sign language and vice versa; cultural competency and understanding of Deaf culture
