About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at CareStaff Partners.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide sign language interpretation services for students and staff in schools across Washington state. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational experience of deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality sign language interpretation services for students, teachers, and staff in various settings, including classrooms, meetings, and events
  • Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and other support staff to ensure effective communication and student success
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding student records and information
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • National Interpreter Certification (NIC) or Provisional Deaf Interpreter Credential (PDIC) required; RID certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work in various school settings, including urban, suburban, and rural areas
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $44-$51 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
