Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sunnycrest Manor in Dubuque, IA.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with the Iowa Nurse Practice Act. This role will involve supervising nursing assistants, administering medications, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Review prior shift records and treatment instructions
  • Assign and supervise the work of nursing assistants
  • Administer medications and provide other nursing services as needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, and staff
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing
  • Licensed practical nurse as issued by the State of Iowa
  • Ability to observe medical problems and initiate appropriate action
  • Ability to assign and supervise the work of nonprofessional personnel
