Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Sunnycrest Manor. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

Job Summary:

The LPN will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care. This includes administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and documenting patient information.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform medical procedures as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents
  • Document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a school of nursing approved by the Iowa Board of Nursing
  • Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Iowa
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
