Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at The Mice Groups, Inc. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $100-150K annually.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee multiple construction projects from bid award to closeout without direct oversight.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, including those of the Client's Safety Program, the General Contractor's Safety Program, and Cal-OSHA.
  • Develop project schedules and value schedules to optimize cash flow and project efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Department to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project documentation, including correspondence, notices, change orders, and contract documents.
  • Advocate on behalf of the client to the General Contractor and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on plumbing and HVAC trade.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in technical applications and software tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, including split systems, hybrid systems, and packaged heating and air systems.
  • Proven understanding of project maintenance and startup procedures, as well as project schedules and sequencing of work.
  • Ability to perform monthly billings and manage cash flow.
  • Previous success in pricing processes, quantity take-offs, and executing change orders.
  • Able to negotiate and manage subcontracts, as well as oversee commissioning and related documentation.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor others.
