Job Summary:
As a Respiratory Care Intern at Shannon Health, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and assisting with non-invasive respiratory procedures under the supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans to meet individual needs
- Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to supervising staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Enrolled in a Respiratory Care Program (2nd Year) or higher
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment
