Job Summary

We are seeking a Group Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities for one or more homes, ensuring that individuals receiving services are properly cared for.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities, budgets, and schedules for one or more homes and designated individuals.
• Manage and directly supervise staff, including performance evaluations, hiring, scheduling, orientation, ongoing support, and training.
• Maintain census and maximize utilization and occupancy percentages within programs.
• Ensure safety and workers' compensation initiatives are followed.
• Maintain and foster relationships with individuals receiving services, families, and guardians; implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans as appropriate.
• Implement program plans for individuals receiving services and submit timely incident reports as appropriate, providing individual corrective action.
• Maintain and foster relationships with case managers and referral agents; lobby on behalf of individuals supported as appropriate.
• Develop, implement, revise, and monitor data collection and Individual Program Plans for individual training programs; maintain records for individuals served; complete monthly data summaries and make revisions as needed.
• Implement safety plans and coordinate scheduling for supported individuals; ensure that individuals are receiving appropriate health and medication management; coordinate activities and appointments; assist in the management of youth funds.
• Ensure homes are clean, neat, and safe, working with maintenance as appropriate.
• Purchase program supplies and submit billing compliance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a specific human service field.
• Masters Degree-3 years post Master's experience working with youth, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Bachelors Degree-5 years post Master's experience working with youth, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.
• Preferred CPR and first aid certification.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance if providing transportation to individuals receiving services.
• Strong communication skills with ability to build rapport with others.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
