Position Overview:

Role: Technical Support Specialist

  • Manage all incoming calls, chats, and emails within the service desk.
  • Address basic Level 1 inquiries from end users.
  • Accurately log incidents and issues, categorizing and prioritizing them according to team protocols.
  • Diagnose and swiftly resolve a variety of Windows application problems.
  • Possess strong troubleshooting skills for internet and VPN connectivity issues.
  • When issues exceed the support scope, escalate them to the appropriate resolver group using the IT Ticketing System.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and related hardware.
  • Familiarity with Citrix and VPN technologies.
  • Customize and configure desktop hardware to meet organizational specifications and standards.
  • Administer email accounts, including creation, management, and distribution lists on Office 365.
  • Manage user accounts, including creation, management, and password resets within Active Directory.
  • Educate end users on basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operations while resolving fundamental queries.
  • Take ownership of issues and document them in the ITSM Tool.
  • Configure mobile devices (iPads/iPhones/Android) for users to ensure email access and connectivity.
  • Possess foundational knowledge of Networking, Virtualization, Mac OS, and both web-based and installable applications.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Active Directory management.
  • Experience with Citrix environments.
  • Familiarity with O365 applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Understanding of Mobile Operating Systems (Android/iOS).
  • Experience with Antivirus solutions.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint functionalities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Laptop/Desktop/Tablet issues.
  • Experience with VPN troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Mobile Device Management practices.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position across all US locations. Individual compensation is determined by factors such as work location, job level, and relevant skills, experience, and education. Additional forms of compensation may be available based on performance and other criteria.
