Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide supervision and guidance to the dispensing pharmacy team
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date on industry, regulatory, and compliance developments
  • Communicate and educate staff on pharmacy-related issues
  • Implement quality assurance programs to ensure patient care and safety
  • Maintain records of pharmacist licensure and technician registrations
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Serve as a primary source of information and respond to customer inquiries
Requirements:
  • Licensed pharmacist in the state of Kentucky, active and in good standing
  • 1 year of management experience in a Pharmacist in Charge or Pharmacy Manager role
  • 1 year of pharmacist experience in a long term care dispensing role
  • Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified
