Job Title: Building Controls Automation Engineer

ISI Professional Services is seeking an experienced Building Controls Automation Engineer to provide construction management services to a DoD client. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building controls design, operations, or maintenance, and a strong understanding of construction management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track down requirements and data from other project managers to ensure complete and on-time submissions.
  • Contribute expertise and knowledge regarding direct digital control systems, building automation, and automated control systems.
  • Work with Project Managers to develop and track the progress of milestones and Government activities.
  • Prepare project status briefings, develop and maintain performance matrixes, and prepare well-written technical reports.
  • Develop inspection checklists to conduct code compliance-related construction inspections.
  • Provide Quality Control review, quality assurance, and engineering support to ensure adherence to WHS standards.
  • Reconcile Government deficiencies with Contractor deficiencies and provide weekly updates on reconciliation and closure of deficiencies.
  • Document tests for required compliance and identify non-compliance, citing appropriate code.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and five (5) years of construction management experience with building controls design, operations, or maintenance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to pass and maintain a Public Trust (HSPD-12 fingerprint background check).
Physical Requirements:
  • Flexibility related to work hours as project demands arise.
  • Occasionally required to move pounds.
  • Must remain in a stationary computer position for extended periods.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
Work Setting/Environment/Travel Requirements:
  • Monday through Friday, Normal business hours 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
