We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at gpac. As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, modernizing, and installing control systems for industrial specialty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy PLC-based automation control systems, integrating motion control, sensors, VFD drives, and actuators.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing systems, troubleshooting and ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Program Level 1 control systems based on function descriptions and layouts.
  • Collaborate with project teams, internal experts, and customers to engineer solutions for technical challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing and simulation of systems prior to delivery.
  • Execute on-site commissioning and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience programming and troubleshooting automation equipment and related controls in a professional setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (with I&E/control system emphasis), or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with PLCs and automation practices.
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal/S7 and Rockwell RSlogix5000 is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FactoryTalk, WinCC, and/or Wonderware InTouch HMI systems is preferred.
