We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Integration Engineer to join our team at Rockwell Automation. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fleets of OTTO autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and software at our customer facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning and integration of AMR systems at client facilities worldwide
  • Supporting detailed solutions design of AMR systems using OTTO Motors products to meet customer requirements
  • Authoring and executing acceptance test plans for validation of system functionality and performance
  • Optimizing system performance through analysis, simulation, and experimentation
  • Project planning and communication with customers and project teams
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in designing and integrating complex systems solutions for industrial automation applications
  • 3+ years of experience commissioning and integrating industrial automated equipment or software that interfaces to the equipment
  • College or university diploma or degree in an engineering, design, or industrial controls type of field
  • Experience working directly with clients/end-users and troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical systems/subsystems
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with AMR/AGV systems integration
  • Training users of automated equipment/software
  • Authoring and modifying software code (Python, C++, or other)
  • Experience with inductive Automation Ignition OPC/UA software
