Compensation:
$16.00 per hour. Final pay will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage actively in branch initiatives, outreach efforts, training sessions, and staff meetings as required.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to plan, coordinate, and implement programs and activities.
  • Communicate and engage with program participants, parents, and community members.
  • Provide guidance and support to participants in various programs.
  • Offer constructive feedback regarding the success or challenges of projects and activities.
  • Adhere to all program guidelines and YMCA of Delaware regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with the YMCA code of conduct among all participants and manage behavior accordingly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to enhance program effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively serve a diverse community.
  • High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Experience working with children, youth, and families.
