Compensation:
$16.00 per hour. Final pay will be determined based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage actively in branch initiatives, outreach efforts, training sessions, and staff meetings as required.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to plan, coordinate, and implement programs and activities.
- Communicate and engage with program participants, parents, and community members.
- Provide guidance and support to participants in various programs.
- Offer constructive feedback regarding the success or challenges of projects and activities.
- Adhere to all program guidelines and YMCA of Delaware regulations.
- Ensure compliance with the YMCA code of conduct among all participants and manage behavior accordingly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to enhance program effectiveness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively serve a diverse community.
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Experience working with children, youth, and families.
