  • Design and develop electrical systems for industrial heat treating equipment in consultation with customers, vendors, contractors, and coworkers.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry codes and standards, such as OSHA and NFPA.
  • Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Design and test electrical systems to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and information to stakeholders, including customers and internal teams.
  • Assist PLC Technicians with software development and maintenance.
  • Prepare quotes based on design requirements and customer specifications.
  • Support system installations, troubleshooting, and inspections.
  • Train personnel on designed electrical systems and ensure proper operation and maintenance.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations to maintain product and company reputation.
  • Continuing professional development through workshops, publications, and networking.
  • Travel to job sites for inspections and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or 10 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering codes and standards.
  • PLC coding knowledge is a plus but not required.
