As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our top initiative of ensuring an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of physicians, ARNPs, or PAs by collecting vital signs and medical histories, performing EKGs, administering injections, and entering data into electronic health records.
- Provide direct patient care, including collecting and processing lab samples, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- Completed a Medical Assisting Program or completion of certification or registration.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Ability to type at a minimum of 40 WPM.
- All certifications received, e.g. CMA, CPR, BLS, etc. must be kept current.
- Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems, including Athena.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
