As a medical assistant with Florida Cancer Specialists, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced healthcare professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assisting physicians with medical procedures, performing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate records. In addition to your clinical skills and experience, we are looking for a medical assistant who is able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. We are also looking for a medical assistant who is able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $45,000 per year, plus benefits, to our employees.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:*

* High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
* Valid Medical Assistant Certification from One of the Following Boards:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) from the National Health Career Association (NHA)
National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from the National Center for Competency Testing
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologist (AMT)
The National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) for Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
* Valid Driver's License and Vehicle for Travel to Other Clinic Locations as Needed
* One Year Experience as a Medical Assistant in a Clinic or Physician's Office with Ability to Perform Venipuncture Preferred
* Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
* Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team
* Strong Focus on Quality and Safety
