Job Summary

Rogers Group, a leading aggregates and asphalt highway construction company, is seeking an experienced Master Mechanic to join our team in Columbia, TN and Lewisburg, TN. As a Master Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs, routine maintenance, and inspections on a wide variety of mining and quarry equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform heavy or major maintenance repairs as needed
  • Perform routine scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks
  • Complete maintenance and work order repair records
  • Inspect machines for abnormalities or defects
  • Be able to weld and fabricate, as needed
  • Heavy equipment parts familiarization including parts catalogs, procurement, handling, storage, and cost of heavy equipment parts
  • Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks
  • Ability to operate mobile equipment
  • Operate a company vehicle on public highways and job sites
  • Capable of working with limited supervision and scheduling own work
  • Weekend work/overtime may be required
Requirements
  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence
  • Minimum of three years of experience working on heavy equipment
  • Ability to stoop, push, kneel, twist, and lift 70lbs
  • Ability to climb and perform work on heights of 20 feet
  • Able to work in all kinds of weather conditions
  • Able to develop working relationships with other employees and vendors
