Job Summary:

Ryder is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of diesel engines and mechanical repair techniques.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake and tire work

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems

Perform facility maintenance duties, including cleaning and organization of the shop

Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions

Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance and repair procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred

Basic tools required

Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines

Four years or more relevant work experience preferred

Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
