Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Healogics team as a Wound Care Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our mission to deliver exceptional wound care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide wound-related patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Provider, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, care and safety protocols, and Clinical Services Practice Guidelines.
- Assist in vein clinic as assigned after completing Healogics Vein Clinic training.
- May assist with intake and discharge, as well as provide support with case management under the direction of an RN, in accordance with state regulations.
- Gather patient information and necessary equipment and supplies for the RN or provider.
- Report quality of care issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager and communicate with team members regarding therapeutic interventions to ensure quality of care.
- Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy-related duties, as needed, after completing the required Healogics hyperbaric training.
- May perform hyperbaric safety director duties after completing the required Healogics hyperbaric safety director training.
- May function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics policy.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state-approved educational program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of practice
- Two (2) or more years' experience as LPN/LVN, including one (1) or more years in SNF or LTACH setting
- Wound care experience preferred
- Demonstrated competency in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Basic knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations
- Strong interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills
- Customer service skills and follow-up skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with others and in a team environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to stay calm in all situations
- Working knowledge of computerized nursing systems
This position is primarily indoors, with normal office environment conditions. You will be exposed to hazards, including blood-borne pathogens, toxic chemicals, flammable explosive gases, and mechanical equipment. You will also be in proximity to moving objects.
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $26.07-$37.12 Per Hour. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography, as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
