  • Review Medical Charts: Analyze patient medical charts to inform care decisions and identify potential health risks.
  • Accompany Patients: Escort patients to their rooms and assist with mobility as needed.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate with Patients and Families: Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients and their families regarding care plans and progress.
  • Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct standard diagnostic procedures, including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler, as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare Specimens: Prepare and package specimens for lab courier as needed.
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to patients as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide Wound Care: Assess and treat wounds, including cleaning and dressing as needed.
  • Assist with Patient Comfort: Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Monitor Catheters: Regularly check and maintain catheters as needed.

Qualifications:

  • LPN License: Current LPN license or recent graduate from an accredited LPN program.
