We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Allegiance Mobile Health. As an EMT, you will play a critical role in providing emergency medical care to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing direct patient care and transportation to medical facilities.
- Operate emergency vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all departmental, local, and state driving rules.
- Collaborate with other emergency responders, including police and fire departments, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient care reports, billing information, and other associated documentation.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as an EMT in the State of Texas.
- CPR certification.
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
- Valid Texas driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in emergency care.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to cope well under hazardous and high-stress situations.
- Quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Compassion and professionalism in patient care.
This position can work a variety of schedules, including 8-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, 24-hour shifts, and 48-hour shifts. We can accommodate a set school schedule, allowing you to balance your work and education responsibilities.
