Job Summary

As a Paramedic with Acadian Ambulance Service, you will provide advanced life support care to patients in emergency situations. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough examinations of patients, administer life-saving treatments, and transport them to medical facilities safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient examinations and administer life support care within the scope of your licensure and certification.
  • Provide safe and efficient patient transport in ambulances.
  • Document patient information and treatment on EMS run reports.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and maintenance to ensure all necessary tools are available and in working order.
  • Collaborate with other medical personnel to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • National and/or State certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic.
  • Current CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
  • Knowledge of company protocols, operational procedures, and safety policies.
Interpersonal Requirements
  • Maintain social, ethical, and organizational norms.
  • Achieve accomplishment of all task details, no matter how small.
  • Maintain good personal motivation and a sense of ownership of job tasks and results.
  • Must have a sense of urgency for all work performed.
Training Requirements
