Career Opportunity: Field Chemist I

Crystal Clean, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Chemist I to join our team. As a Field Chemist I, you will be responsible for managing hazardous waste, conducting field HAZCAT tests, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of field technicians and drivers to ensure safe and efficient waste collection and disposal.
  • Conduct field HAZCAT tests to classify unknown chemicals for disposal.
  • Develop and implement effective client relations strategies to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage small to medium environmental clean-up projects, including estimating job costs and resources needed.
  • Assist sales with estimating job costs and resources needed, as well as post-project job costing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a lead in lab packing, profiling, and managing hazardous waste.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Intermediate user in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
