We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Support Technician II to join our dynamic team at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC. This is a 36-hour per week position with rotating shifts, offering a comprehensive benefit package and opportunities for growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with routine examinations and procedures, as well as procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Provide critical review of patient care documentation, making note of any significant changes in the patient's condition and reporting to a registered nurse or physician.
- Perform a variety of clerical tasks, including organizing and prioritizing workload, greeting and directing visitors, researching information as requested by nurses and physicians, and maintaining medical records.
- Provide administrative and clerical support, including PI audits and data entry.
- Provide clinical support assistance, including cleaning the work area, maintaining office equipment, and assisting in the orientation of new employees and students.
- Provide direct personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and assisting with ambulation, as outlined in the plan of care.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- One year of clerical or customer service experience and six months of related nursing assistant experience.
