Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Resurgens Orthopaedics. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI studies in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI scans to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Screen patients and others entering the MRI area to ensure a safe environment
  • Send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Enter patient information into our computer system(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned by MRI management
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT registration in good standing
  • Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent patient care skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Work Environment

As an MRI Technologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels. You may be exposed to infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members.

You will be required to sit, stand, walk, reach, and talk throughout the day. You may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. You must be able to lift, push, and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
