About the Role

Midwest Autism & Psychological Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our team of clinicians. As an Autism Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing intervention services for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments using a variety of standardized tools and measures, including the Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition, Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition, and Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales – Third Edition - Comprehensive Parent/Caregiver form.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client, with a focus on early intervention and support for families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and special education teachers, to provide comprehensive services and support for clients and their families.
  • Provide training and education to staff members on best practices in autism assessment and intervention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to autism services.
Requirements
  • Current Licensed Psychologist license from the State of MN required.
  • PsyD/Ph.D. degree from an accredited college or university required.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disorders.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a focus on early intervention and support for families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other professionals.
