**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Reef Technology Inc. as a Restaurant Operations Manager. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Set up stations with all necessary supplies and equipment

• Handle, store, and rotate all products properly to maintain food quality and safety

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, adhering to company and state regulations

• Follow proper cooking techniques for all dishes and ensure food quality and timeliness

• Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to company and state regulations

• Comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations and standards

• Maintain a positive and respectful approach with everyone, including colleagues, customers, and management

• Report all unsafe working conditions, operational needs, and equipment or aspects of the kitchen in need of repair to management

• Manage labor, COGS, inventory, and maintenance and repair (M&R) to optimize kitchen efficiency and productivity

• Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to improve skills and knowledge

• Collaborate with management to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction

**Requirements**

• Positive demeanor and leadership skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff

• Business acumen and knowledge of COGS and inventory management

• Previous cooking and management experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a similar role

• Servesafe certification and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Open availability and ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliability, integrity, and ability to perform under pressure

• Operational knowledge of hospitality equipment and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

• Familiarity with industry's best practices and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

**Physical Demands**

• Regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel

• Occasionally required to taste or smell

• Push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs on a weekly basis

• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and work in a standing position for a long period of time

**Working Conditions**

• Must be comfortable working in a shared space with constant noise and without the use of a private office

• Must be able to cope with frequent changing priorities and deadlines with a high degree of optimism, professionalism, and collaboration

• Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice, including weekends, nights, and holidays
