Job Summary

A Hazardous Materials Transport Specialist is needed to safely transport non-hazardous and hazardous materials across the country. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Safely Operate Collection Trucks: Conduct pre-trip inspections of mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Collect Delivery Instructions: Verify instructions and routes from dispatchers, maintaining accurate logs of working hours or vehicle service status.
  • Maintain Vehicle Safety: Display consistent attention to safety protocols, reporting any vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to vehicles.
  • Transport Hazardous Materials: Transport non-hazardous and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable guidelines, DOT, and company safety procedures.
  • Perform Industrial Work: Assist in the removal of soil, debris, and other materials, and clean up spill sites, operating and cleaning equipment as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: CDL "Class A" License with Hazmat endorsement.
  • Experience: 2-5 years truck driving experience preferred, HAZWOPER, Confined Space training, TWIC Card preferred.
Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000 - $85,000, depending on location and experience.
