TAS Environmental Services, LP is a leading provider of environmental services, specializing in emergency response, industrial cleaning, waste management, and midstream services.
About the Role
This position reports to the Branch General Manager and/or Supervisor and is responsible for handling various products, hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Key duties include:
- Staging, profiling, and processing hazardous and non-hazardous waste for disposal.
- Assisting in the removal of soil, debris, and other materials, and cleaning up spill sites.
- Operating and maintaining equipment.
- Maintaining logs of working hours in compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2 years of experience in environmental services and equipment operation.
- Ability to travel and work long hours.
- Ability to pass physical and drug screens.
- HAZWOPER and Confined Space certifications, or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to complete basic job-related paperwork.
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including Respiratory Protection.
Working Conditions
This role involves working in or around extreme temperatures and requires the ability to lift or carry heavy objects in excess of 60 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, or bend for extended periods.
