Job Title: Branch Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Branch Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch location, ensuring delivery of quality customer service and achievement of sales or productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other branch managers to set realistic goals and objectives.
  • Manage the assignment schedule for drivers and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide guidance on scheduling issues, detours, and permits.
  • Collaborate with other branches to establish performance standards based on financial and operational goals.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and objectives, provide guidance, and lead the team to meet these goals.
  • Handle work assignment invoices and work closely with billing to ensure timely payment.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities, develop a plan to meet those needs, and implement it.
  • Maintain and develop positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
  • Collaborate with other managers on advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree and equivalent industry experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least three years of experience as a branch manager with at least one year as an assistant branch manager highly preferred.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Requires lifting and carrying of up to 25lb or more.
  • Requires using hands to handle, control, or lift objects with a strong grip.
