Job Description

**Job Summary:**

The Nuclear Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ValvTechnologies quality assurance program specifically for the Nuclear Industry. This position reports to the Quality Director and requires a strong understanding of nuclear programs and compliance to ASME III, 10CFR21, 10CFR50, Appendix B, ANSI N45.2, and ASME NQA-1.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain all Nuclear QA programs, including procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure effectiveness and compliance of QA programs through audits and other methods.
  • Interface with the ANI and ANIS as required.
  • Perform internal and external audits per schedule and record any resultant non-conformances and process their resolution.
  • Oversee and process NCR's and communicate NCR's to appropriate personnel.
  • Issue and Process Corrective Action Requests.
  • Document and answer Customer Complaints.
  • Administer QA Databases, including Document Management, NCR, CAR, ASL, Work Order (MTR).
  • Make improvements in targeted areas as directed by the DQA.
  • Work together with the DQA, NEM, and HR Manager to implement training programs.
  • Conduct training classes and ensure documentation of training.
Requirements:
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the area of Quality Assurance/Control, preferably in the Nuclear Industry.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing or production work environment.
  • Confirm your resume will show the appropriate experience mentioned above.
  • Knowledge in: Working knowledge of the relevant nuclear programs for compliance to ASME III, 10CFR21, 10CFR50, Appendix B, ANSI N45.2, and ASME NQA-1.
