Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Penta ESP (Electrical Safety Products) LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales volume within the assigned region and for market participation within our strategies, goals, objectives, prescribed budgeting limits, and established cost constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide product line analysis of assigned territory and participate in annual and long-range sales forecasting, strategy, and formulation of marketing tactics.
  • Coordinate territory program with manufacturer representatives, distributors, and customers to promote new or modified existing products for the electrical safety division.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end-users, distributors, and NAIL laboratories in the region.
  • Analyze annually distributorships and manufacturer representatives' performance and make recommendations for needed changes.
  • Manage discount structure for distributors and conduct annual reviews of independent company representatives.
  • Gather and provide timely and knowledgeable market information and competition analysis for utility products.
  • Participate in or conduct customer or association safety and training meetings as required.
  • Participate in various trade shows and demonstrations of Penta ESP products.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Penta ESP products and ensure that the distributor sales force, manufacturer representatives, and end-users are knowledgeable in the technical attributes and applications of Penta ESP electrical safety products.
  • Maintain Penta ESP's profitability through properly managing product margins and expenditures related to the territory.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field or minimum of 5 years working in sales or equivalent work experience or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in and able to operate a multitude of software to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and ease with public speaking.
  • Exercise judgment and uses good business discretion.
  • Travel 65-80% of time visiting customers, distributors, NAIL laboratories, and development of new end-users.
