Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at SR COMPANIES LLC. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the admission process of new residents, ensuring a smooth transition to our community.
- Perform various nursing procedures to promote the comfort and well-being of residents, including assisting with activities of daily living as needed.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Supervise non-licensed nursing staff and participate in their evaluation and development.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to nursing care.
- Provide education and training to staff on nursing procedures and best practices.
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
- Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
- Collaborate with the activities department to ensure residents have access to engaging and meaningful activities.
- Assist in the coordination of resident transfers and discharges.
- Participate in the development and implementation of resident satisfaction surveys.
- Valid Florida nursing license.
- One to two years of experience in a long-term care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of nursing procedures and best practices.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
