We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at our employer-based direct care clinic in Dalton, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct medical care to client company employees and family members ages 2 and older.
  • Practice evidence-based medicine, focusing on quality patient care rather than production-based metrics.
  • Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and provide medical treatments based on best practice standards.
  • Educate and advise patients on medical issues as needed.
  • Refer patients to internal or external medical resources as necessary.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of medical care and monitor patient progress.
  • Participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
  • Maintain accurate medical records using electronic medical record software.
  • Formulate and administer health programs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency room settings.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine, or board eligibility in these areas.
  • Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for healthcare providers.
  • Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
