Job Summary

As a Radiologic Technologist at Hillcrest Hospital Pryor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. This position is accountable for operating the x-ray rooms, c-arms, and portables in a safe and proficient manner. You will transport patients, handle telephone calls for scheduling patients, and answer questions related to reports of exams. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling patient support equipment, such as I.V. pumps and O2, and assisting physicians with invasive procedures.

Responsibilities

- Operate x-ray rooms, c-arms, and portables in a safe and proficient manner
- Transport patients and handle telephone calls for scheduling patients
- Answer questions related to reports of exams
- Handle patient support equipment, such as I.V. pumps and O2
- Assist physicians with invasive procedures
- Clean rooms and equipment, and order supplies
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements

- Current student of or graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or registry eligible
- Ability to maintain a high standard of imaging with a minimum of repeats
- Knowledge of x-ray equipment, anatomy, and positioning
- Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously and maintain a helpful attitude towards patients, their families, office personnel, physicians, and associates
