Porsche Parts Counterperson Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Porsche Parts Counterperson to join our team at Hendrick Porsche Southpoint. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling parts to customers, and supporting the service department and body shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts, providing accurate information and recommendations.
  • Place special orders for parts, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Read and interpret parts manuals to ensure accurate identification and specification of parts.
  • Provide pricing and product information to customers, ensuring transparency and fairness.
  • Dispense parts to the service department and body shop, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Order out-of-stock parts requested by customers, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Assist in taking inventory, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with dealership standards.
  • Meet departmental production and profitability goals, contributing to the success of the dealership.
  • Maintain CSI at or above dealership standards, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and consistently, providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Participate in required training, staying up-to-date with the latest products and services.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in the company timekeeping system.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, maintaining a high level of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues. You will also need to have a strong understanding of automotive parts, with the ability to read and interpret parts manuals. A valid driver's license and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products are also required.
